For those looking for a little adventure, Chelsea Piers offers countless activities to partake in, ranging in everything from bowling to trapezing. 
 
While dozens of parks and outdoor spaces exist across New York City, the Chelsea neighborhood hosts two of the most unique. Spending the afternoon on Little Island, an artificial island park in the Hudson River, is a popular activity for residents of the neighborhood and visitors alike. Walking the Highline, a 1.45-mile linear park built on an abandoned railway makes for another perfect way to spend a day outdoors in Chelsea.
