Rebecca Blacker founded Blacker and Reed in 2022 alongside her business partner Arlene Reed. Dedicated, patient, and trustworthy. Dedicated to providing first-class service to her clients, Rebecca prioritizes her clients’ needs above all else. Primarily serving New York City’s families and young professionals, Rebecca is a rising star in Manhattan’s real estate scene, offering clients her industry knowledge and area expertise. 

A native New Yorker, Rebecca grew up in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. After living in Greenwich Village with her husband for several years, they moved back to the Upper East Side six years ago when they purchased a co-op and renovated their apartment. They are currently raising their two children in their beautiful home. Years before becoming a real estate broker, Rebecca grew up in a home where real estate was a regular dinner conversation. Her family invested in multi-family properties starting in the 1980s, and real estate has been part of Rebecca’s world long before she obtained her real estate license. Prior to becoming a real estate broker, she worked in the family business for ten years as a leasing manager for her family’s properties. She, then, became a licensed real estate broker in 2019 and teamed up with the established agent, Arlene Reed.

Rebecca’s mission is to help navigate her clients through New York City’s dynamic real estate market, from the first meeting to well beyond the closing table. Rebecca’s strengths lie in her ability to build and maintain strong, supportive relationships with her clients and other industry professionals. Rebecca specializes in working with high-end buyers and sellers who are interested in luxury listings. 

Rebecca can often be found exploring the city’s many vibrant neighborhoods, playing tennis in Central Park, watching Broadway shows, dining out at the newest restaurants, and spending quality time with her family. Rebecca also serves on a few committees at Horace Mann School, is on the Board of Directors for her co-op, and advocates for the City of Hope Charity.
